Sat. at 2 pm: Crossroads of the Nation: The Hidden History of the Railroads of Illinois. Listen to Simon Cordery, railway historian and historical advisor to the National Railroad Hall of Fame, as he explains the expansion of the railroad in the Land of Lincoln, demonstrates how the Prairie State fits into the pattern of national railroad development, and offers a local case study illustrating the importance of railroads to economic growth and civic pride.  Web site

Stockdale Soldier Citizen Museum

Located in the Robert Dunlap Room of the Admiral James Stockdale Building, the museum has artifacts from the War of 1812 through Iraq.  Bingo on Saturdays - meals available.
