Chicago
and South Suburbs (3 to 3.5 hours)
Take I-55 South toward St.
Louis. Take I-80 West until I-74. Follow signs for I-74 to Peoria; take
I-74 East until exit 46 and follow signs.
Chicago’s North and
West Suburbs (3 to 3.5 hours)
Take the I-88 Tollway West from Chicago to the Quad Cities. At
the Quad Cities, take I-80 East for several miles until it turns into I-74
East. As you approach Galesburg, take exit 46 and follow the signs.
Kansas City (6.5 hours)
Take I-35 North into Iowa. Take exit 33 onto U.S. Route 34. Take
U.S. Route 34 east to Galesburg and follow the signs.
Lincoln (7 hours), Omaha (6 hours), Des Moines (4 hours), Iowa City (2
hours)
Take I-80 East to the Quad Cities. At the Quad Cities, take
I-74 East to Galesburg and exit at exit 46. Follow the signs.
Louisville (6 hours)
Take I-65 North to I-74 West. Take I-74 West until exit 48-A. The
exit ramp merges onto Main Street driving west. Stay on Main Street for
about two miles.
Milwaukee (3.5 to 4 hours)
From the Milwaukee area, take I-43 toward Beloit. At Beloit take
I-90 East to Rockford exiting at I-39. Follow I-39 South to Rochelle, exit
onto I-88 West toward Moline/Rock Island. At the Quad Cities, take I-80
East, which will become I-74 East after approximately 6 miles. From I-74,
take exit 46 and follow the signs.
Minneapolis (7 hours)
From the Twin Cities, take Highway 52 to Rochester. At Rochester,
take Highway 63 south to Waterloo, IA where you’ll connect to I-380
South to Iowa City. Take I-80 East to the Quad Cities. Proceed east on
I-74 to Galesburg, take exit 46 and follow the signs.
St. Louis (3.5 to 4 hours)
Leave St. Louis via I-55 and proceed through Springfield. At
exit 127, take I-155 to Peoria. At Peoria, take I-74 West to Galesburg,
exit at 48-A and follow the signs.
Tulsa (11 hours) and Oklahoma City (13.5 hours)
Take I-44 to St. Louis. Leave St. Louis via I-55 and proceed
through Springfield. At exit 127, take I-155 to Peoria. At Peoria, take
I-74 West to Galesburg, exit at 48-A and follow the signs.
Urbana-Champaign (2.25 hours), Indianapolis (4 hours), Cincinnati (6
hours)
Take I-74 West to Galesburg, exit at exit 48-A and follow the
signs.
From other cities
Galesburg is easily accessible from I-74.
