the last 13 years the Carl Sandburg College Foundation has
sponsored a Model Train and Railroadiana Show in conjunction with
the well-known Galesburg Railroad Days Festival. This two-day
show has in excess of 3,000 visitors per year. Last year, the
show attracted 85 vendors from 21 different states with 330 tables
of merchandise. Due to the increasing interest in the
collecting of die cast models, the Foundation is again sponsoring the
third annual Die Cast Toy Show. Admission
is $5.00 per person (children 12 and under free). The proceeds
of the gate fee will be a contribution to the Carl Sandburg College
Foundation and used for student scholarships. Admission to the
Die Cast Show will be valid to attend the Model Train and
Railroadiana Show, and the attendees at the Train Show will be
admitted to the Die Cast Show at no additional charge. All
space is inside a new building which is fully air conditioned.
There is adequate, free, paved parking for all attendees.
