We are pleased to announce the official list of attractions for this year’s celebration of our railroad heritage. The 2012 event on June 23-24 has attractions that appeal to everyone, from the railroad enthusiast to the history buff. Galesburg Railroad Days offers something for the entire family. The 2012 Official Railroad Days Poster is now available for purchase in our online store. This limited edition 18 x 24 print is the work of local artist Ron Hatch and is only $10.00 per poster (plus shipping and handling). You can order using a major credit card or PayPal account.

Starting at 5 pm on Thu., June 23rd, carnival goers can purchase the Mega Armband for $35, which are good for all four days of the carnival. Single day armbands: Thursday ($20); Friday ($25); Saturday ($25); Sunday ($20).

The 2011 edition of the annual Galesburg Railroad Days is a little over a month away. We have just posted the new schedule of attractions for this year. You can view our interactive schedule and also download a printable brochure. Please check back as we update and add new attractions as we look forward to the weekend of June 25 and 26th!

Daily Arm-Band pricing: Friday from 6 – 11 pm, $20, Saturday from Noon – 11 pm, $25; Sunday from Noon – 6 pm, $20. Arm-Bands can be purchased at any Carnival ticket booth. Remember that Mega-Bands (which could on be purchased on Thursday) allows you to ride all four days of the Carnival.

Just a reminder that the MEGA Arm-Band, which is valid for all 4 days and for all Carnival rides, will be available only tonight (Thursday, June 24th) from 6 – 11 pm. The price is $35. DAILY Arm-Bands pricing: Thursday from 6 – 11 pm, $20; Friday from 6 – 11 pm, $20, Saturday from Noon – 11 pm, $25; Sunday from Noon – 6 pm, $20. Arm-Bands can be purchased at any Carnival ticket booth.

Free round-trip shuttle service will be offered from the BNSF Amtrak Depot to Standish Park (site of the Galesburg Historical Society Flea Market on Saturday and Showcase of Cars on Sunday) and Carl Sandburg College (site of the Model Train & Railroadiana Show and Toy Show); departing every half hour from each location. Last pick up at 5 pm Saturday and 2:30 pm Sunday.
